Concerned over the rate of violent radicalization of the youths and degeneration of trust and peaceful co-existence between various tribes as occasioned by Hate Speech and farmers/Herders conflicts that are fast swaying the northern state of Nigeria, the Center for Community Actions for Peace and Development(CCAPAD) is poised to organize a 2 years pilot intervention project to deradicalize the radicalized minds among farmers and herders groups and establish Peace Building and Consultative structures in vulnerable communities.

After the successes that accrued from the pilot, the intervention is now scaled up to include Jos South and Barkin Ladi LGAs with a view to imploring the Peace club model oof Peace Building to establish safe spaces as local learning centers to train the LEADERSHIP of herders in the art of peace building, mediation, negotiation, Trauma healing, lifesaving and communal co-existence skills as dignified human beings regardless of tribal, ethnic and religious differences.
