We have learnt a lot from the peace club of CCAPAD in Jos East, we have trained by CCAPAD on different aspect of peace building and conflict resolution. Using the skills from the trainings, as an ardo in my community and a member of the peace club consultative forum I have been able to resolve conflicts between farmers and herders and also domestic violence (husband and wife). I have resolved so many cases here at foubour district, which did not go forward to either the District head of the law enforcement agencies and I received a very strong support from CCAPAD.
Despite my local experience in settling local issues/conflicts, CCAPAD gave me additional knowledge from the work workshop and trainings on how to be better leaders and also to improve trust and peace coexistence between us the herders and farmers in Jos East. “ if not for what I was thought I would have not solve all the cases” I say a big thank you to CCAPAD may God Almighty help us and support us.
