Suzy Auta

As the women leader in my community,  I was nominated to participant in the CCAPAD programme which came with the initiative of promoting peaceful coexistence between the Iregwe tribe, Fulani tribe and other tribes.  From the trainings I got from CCAPAD, I have gotten a new way and strategies to approach issues that has to do with conflict resolution most especially with the Fulani’s understanding that all of us needs the green vegetation. “With my  new skills, I have been able to dialogue and resolve issues between youths from our farming community and  herders grazing with their cows, this turned out very successful resolution and the conflict which might occurred was averted” is very important to solve any problem by involving and drawing the attention of the community leaders as soon as the problem begins as we learned under the early waring training so that it will be solve amicably from what we learn it has helped a lot.  I want to thank CCAPAD and Bread for the world for taking this giant step to make sure that we live in peace because peace is very paramount to every community because without peace there can’t be development.                                                   (Suzy Auta, member peace club consultative forum, Bassa)
